The Think Tank’s integrated campaign for BSI, Promoting Standards, has been shortlisted for two awards at the European Content Awards, and we couldn’t be happier. Nominations for B2B Content Campaign of the Year and Integrated Content Campaign of the Year highlight the thorough and impressive work the team did on what was an unusual campaign.
BSI, the UK’s national standards body, tasked The Think Tank with devising a project that would uncover learnings and inform the best way of reaching and engaging SMEs on the subject of standards. The resulting campaign ran for three months, and harnessed testing, polling and optimisation to develop a winning multi-channel strategy.
SME audiences were introduced to the information security standard, ISO/IEC 27001, and taken on a journey from discovery through to education and next steps. A variety of new written and video content, as well as reworked guides and case studies, were deployed to highlight the benefits of the standard and offer support to the audience.
Our exhaustive testing and adaptation meant that the campaign smashed through KPI expectations, including the generation of 2.5 times the expected asset downloads and over 12.5 million impressions. Even better, the campaign delivered heaps of important learnings about how to best engage SMEs over the issue of standards, and these learnings are already being implemented to further boost BSI’s digital campaigns.
